There was that time where Evo made them compete in a donation war against other games to stay in. They made it.
There was this time where they had to revive the game and bring it back to EVO's main stage. They pulled it off.

But they just had a real deal Zero May Cry vs Zero May Cry grand finals at EVO in a top 6 full of unexciting 3-0 stomps. The whole thing ended like 40 minutes early.
People knew this sort of thing could happen and a decade after release, we finally got there. Can the game's image be rehabilitated after this?

I was halfway through putting this in YT and the suggestions were VTuber stuff so I'm going to guess that this idol showdown game is about as fun as getting your tongue stuck to a frozen lamp post.

A balance patch, assuming Disney plays ball.

Oh this is kind of an idea. Everyone has to tie one hand behind their back and pick two middling characters or a terrible character.

I was so close to bringing that up.
I decided not to because in the Bayonetta mirror, they were joking around and not taking it seriously. In UMVC3's, both took it seriously, it's more the fault of the game than the players.

I was watching the top 16 matches earlier and got bored after Kane and LT were eliminated. It makes sense to play the strongest teams when thousands are on the line, but damn does it get old quick.

On a slightly unrelated note, Jbril had quite the glow up. I didn't even recognize him at first.

Capcom and EVO should interpret the negative response as a sign that people want MVCI back.
