One the teachers that did it was sexist as fuck too.Someone would misbehave so she would make the entire class miss recess/break. A little girl would cry and she'd let her off the punishment going "Look what you've done to this poor girl! She's in tears!" and let her go.

Bitch, that girl's playing you like a fiddle. She doesn't give a shit, she just doesn't want to be punished. She wasn't even good at pretending to cry.

It was super infuriating.

She also used to pick on failing students and degrade their bad work in front of the class to humiliate them. Was a really really bad teacher, old boomer lady.

This never happened to me, but that's because all of my teachers knew I was never the one fucking around.

This one time, the teacher held the class hostage until one student fessed up to something bad they did. My friend who I knew for sure didnt do it, owned up to it just to save the rest of us. That inspired me to do the same years later lol. But yeah i think every teacher does shit like that, it sucks.

There's like two big cases of military hazings I can think of from fiction where the unit "police their own" and it results in at least one person dying.

Yup, maths class. Was fucking stupid. Was held back for around 2-3 hours which obviously got my family worried and the school got shit for it. A few other students families too.

Man, there was this chick in 6th grade that wouldnt shut up about playing kiddy games. She thought it was childish and instead of educational games to win fake money to use at our 6th grade snack shop, she vouched (apparently for the entire class) for more traditional means of learning. The teacher stood up, yelled OK, Fine! No more kiddy games! and had us take out our textbooks for a 5 minute prep for a pop quiz.
Im still salty about not earning my manatee bucks that day.
