It started with a slow burn, because I wasn't feeling it yet. Having the three disparate yet connected story lines made it a little harder to get invested in the story, but I'm there now. Spent the last day of my long weekend hammering through to chapter 3. I had a feeling that C would be Rufus. No one believes that Rufus would be that slimy as to completely contradict what he said at the end of The Great Twilight, and he has the same move that Jusis has. The only thing left to gauge is who or what is doing it. It's like the last vestiges of the Great Twilight and the curse plaguing Erebonia are playing out. The Panzer Soldats from the Black Factory, the mask that Ilya found, etc. are both from there. Who found it and reactivated it? There are no records in the Black Records of the Panzer that they fought in the prologue, so it's completely new.

Renne showed up, though. Everything is made better now. Her and Nadia can be best friends. Need to figure out what Lapis represents and what she's hiding in her noggin.

The ending is a bit overwhelming but it's a fun game. The reverie corridor is a very fun mechanic too.

I am at the post game atm, breaking the mechanics at even crazier degree lol. Even without chrono burst spam

For a little doll, Lapis is fairly philosophical. To her, good and bad is entirely relative. It doesn't change who you are. She's given Rufus some serious food for thought on the type of person he is and who he wants to be. He sacrificed his ideals for somebody else's ambition to fill the void he's been lacking, but it just left him feeling empty. Working for yourself and what you believe in will probably set him free. I look forward to seeing his journey.

Ive been playing through it slowly myself. I think Im close to the end of chapter 2. Recently Ive been playing more of it though. Great game so far
