not technically, but my "contract" wasn't renewed (and imo it was retaliation for dressing queerly, as well as losing a bunch of weight after my parent died). this was a long-ass time ago.

Yes, because Walmart's insurance company took me off medical leave well before I was ready and my manager at the time decided to throw full time weeks at me even though I was part time. So I noped that and tried to get back on leave to no avail.

Only because the "Get out" came out before the "I'm done."

I was gropped and I told the women off who did it and the next day I was let go.

I was fired from Kings Dominion over a handful of things, I just stopped caring after they demoted me. They started writing me up for stupid shit, like throwing ice into a rapids ride that had no people on it.

when i was in school i took a telemarketing job for my university calling alumni for donations and if ppl got nasty id just hang up and if ppl were chill id try to talk to them like idk a human being

Nope. Only have ever had two different jobs, though. One was an internship and the other I'm not letting go of.

I got fired for performance reasons from a call center which is really just an excuse that I didnt meet their ridiculously high goals each month.

Once. I got in a fight about something with my boss. I was young and dumb and shouldn't have, but I was right. He fired me. Two days later he called me begging me to come back in which I did.

Our boss was repeatedly and demonstrably wrong (like, blatantly contradicting what the employee handbook and corporate policy said in writing levels of wrong) and I corrected/questioned her on every wrong thing she said.
It was a temporary job and most of her crew ended up quitting b/c she was such a terrible boss. She stewed on it until the job was almost over and then had her boss call me in to his office at which point he told me I was being fired for "insubordination."
Because I was fired (not laid off, as I would have been within a week or two anyway if they hadn't done that), I had to go through an appeal to get unemployment, but it was a slam dunk case of wrongly termination, so it resolved really quickly. At-will state, so other than getting unemployment out of them, I couldn't really do much else about it.

I was supposed to be fired from a job that I really hated but the boss didn't do it because he was too short staffed. After his last meltdown on me I simply went "ok fine. i'm quitting now." and left.

Almost 4 years later and he's still trying to get me back.

Sort of? My first job was working as a dishwasher at a poorly managed local restaurant prior to leaving for college, and at the start I told them I would only be there until I started school which they accepted. Two weeks before I planned to quit, I went in intending to give them my notice and they coincidentally asked when I was leaving, since I'd mentioned it repeatedly, and I confirmed two weeks from that day. Those two weeks pass, and on my last day, the manager flips out on me about how I never told them officially, how can I leave like that without saying anything, and that if I didn't show up the next day, I'd be fired. Just kind of shrugged, laughed and said "if you say so". They went out of business a couple months later, but I was never really clear what happened there.

Yeah, my mother was in the hospital and I called out because I had to be there for her, stupid bitch fired me immediately. It was just a dog day care job though and the lady running it was a complete nutjob, so I wasn't too sad about losing that job.
