Those who say they supported Trump at first because they considered him a shakeup from the establishment, how did you reconcile his overt racism? Wasnt that a turn off? I saw it as just part of his 'appeal'. The pure chaos and destruction he represented were powered by narcissism and idiocy. Admittedly I overestimated the damage he would do, but the after shocks are far from over. That wasn't the only reason, though. Also I wonder how many people who supported him were familiar with him before he campaigned. Id never heard of him, but my mother had. He was a household name, infamously insufferable and narcissistic, and the thought of him becoming president was horrifying.
