Haven't seen 4 yet, but I'm confident I'd like it more than 1. While I understand why some people like 1 the most for it being the most grounded entry, I personally had some issues with it.

It was from the last topic I think. To copy/paste:

My biggest issues with 1 are:

1. It sets up John Wick as an unstoppable badass in an extremely cool way, but then he spends half the movie getting bailed out by his friend
2. The ending is very weak (in general the movie gets worse as it goes along)

As I said, 4 had the Arc de Triomphe fight which I found so unbelievably impressive.

And then there's the top-down thing and whatever else. Unreal. So I'm going for that I think.
