Yeah, I feel kinda bad kids don't get 40 to 50 episodes like we got back in the 90s and 00s. Can't imagine it's enough time to spend with the characters or story arcs to get invested in them.

Actually with all of them. It just doesn't feel like it due to how the seasons are split.

I'm very dubious of them dropping the Sentai footage. It'll make the show much more expensive and in turn much more likely to ultimately be cancelled. Unless they're retooling the format too, like going for an older demographic but even then the chances of it hitting mainstream appeal among adults seems like a shot in the dark.

Good for David Yost though, deserves all the good things he can get from the franchise.

From what I understand, Hasbro still has to pay for Sentai footage and the recent seasons seem to mostly be original footage anyway. It COULD ultimately end up being cheaper in the long run.

What they might try to do is bring the brand more in line with something like Transformers, where there might be multiple things going at once that cover a variety of different tones, styles and directions.

Technically yes, but I believe Jayden is typically seen as THE red Ranger for Samurai
