I think it will take near 9/11 level fatalities from a single mass shooting to effect change. I've been thinking about it. Gun laws went into effect real quick when the Black Panthers started advocating and assisting black men in acquiring and learning firearms. The news is so acclimated to this the major networks haven't even picked up the story yet. They only barely have a tiny blurb about the Boston shooting this morning that injured 7 people. Seriously, it's so fucked up in this country You basically get a tiny little blurb on the bottom of the screen mentioning a mass shooting right before the other blurb that pops up and shows the weather for the week.
