DepreceV2 08/31/23 11:21:22 PM #12:	I started it today and Ive really enjoyed the little Ive played so far. I have it on Gamepass but I think Ill buy it on my Switch so I can play it on the go. I love the world, music, esthetic and atmosphere. I like turn based RPGs and I enjoy the spin they put on it. Its more active than your typical turn based but still keeps the core of its battle system. Will it be better than Chain Echoes? I have no idea but probably not. Lord_Ephraim 08/31/23 11:29:58 PM #13:	Combat is more shallow than the SNES JRPGs it tries to replicate. I'm 7 hours in and each character only has three moves. Magic is powerful but drains all your MP so you're resorting to normal attacks a lot. Combo moves are nice but to perform them you have to charge a meter and 90% of battles are over before you even get a combo charge move ready. Since most areas has a heal point, what you end up doing is fight one battle, go back to the camp fire to heal, then move on. Rinse, repeat. There are charms that make the game easier you can turn off and on at will. Turn on the one that fully restores you after battle. It will save you a lot of time. The biggest flaw is that the writing is .....too safe. Both Zale and Valera are wet towels personality wise and Garl is extremely annoying, but in a boring way.
