yeah theres a few characters I would probably replace like Tifa and Seymour but it cant be perfect, plenty of good characters left

There's only one truly terrible character in this top twenty, so I'm really hoping he or she goes out really soon.

The only bad character non ff7 here IS genderfluid so.

Hmm lets see if the top 20 theres 4 from games I havent played still. Probably 5 I wouldnt vote for in a final unless they faced one of the other 4 in it. 8 I like enough to vote for in a final. 2 Im fine with and would possibly vote for in a final. That just leaves the supreme turtle who cant be judged the same way as mere non-turtles. If Ghido ever made a final Id probably vote Ghido over just about anyone since it would likely never happen again.

I have nothing but love and respect for all remaining characters and their respective savers.

Quina is absolutely not the worst character left.

3 characters remain that I would anti-vote in a finals but none of them are Quina

although Eddv did say non-ff7 and 2 of my 3 are that, but the 3rd is, well, probably the one Inviso is thinking and definitely not one Eddv would agree

Quina's the only really bad character left not from 7 or 8. So I guess we did really good outside of the PS1 era.

Yeah, looking at the top twenty, there is one character I would not vote for against anyone, one character I would only vote for against that first character, and then two characters I don't want to see win, but depending on the opponent, I could see myself settling for voting them out of spite.

The worst character left is probably either Seymour or Vanille, but this is a pretty strong top 20. There's nobody here I dislike.

The worst character left is Sephiroth imo. I don't know the XIVs, Montblanc, or remake Jessie, and Seymour is probs next up after that, but everyone else I'm alright with.

Seeing all this Seymour hate is disheartening. He had a rough childhood. Go easy on him.

This is a pretty rough top 20 for me. Not that I think it's bad but outside of Locke there's just no one I really care to support left since Rikku went out. If/when the treasure hunter goes out I have no idea what I'll do with my one save every three rounds

Also I hate Seymour he's creepy and ugly and his motives are dum and he tried to steal Tidus' girl

There are five left I'd push as winners, five I'd begrudgingly like to see win, five I'm meh toward, and five I'd actively vote against.

top 20 is a point you can't really begrudge being the least liked of a batch

although if you don't think there's much good on the board, which I would probably agree, I can understand the offence

I dislike Seymour and Sephiroth.

Quina is good.

I don't really think both Locke and Celes will make the Top 10, but it was too hard to pick one so I just kicked Cecil off my list instead.

Why Cecil though? I mean there's only 1 true lock to make it, but if there were 2, the second would be him.

Cecil has only made the Top 10 once in Lefty's tenure, so I'm not convinced he's really a lock. I haven't been paying super attention, but I think he only has two serious backers right now?

Also a lock is we will see at least 3 FF7

3 FF7 is absolutely not a lock, and why couldn't Delita retrace his steps from XXII. I've learned to never count out FFT depth runs after all...

up until Roba posted, every top 10 prediction had Tifa included except for Koala's, I feel like there's a lesson people could learn there.

i'm not 100% sure on this but FFT always seems to make it lately. though i guess it could be reliant on Cecil not making it.

Alright fuck it I've just gotta ask because it applies to like 35-40% of y'all's predictions at this point: have those of you who think Seymour is making it to the top 10 been watching a different contest or do y'all have some sort of insider scoop that I'm lacking in? Cuz from where I'm standing Seymour looks bound for 18th place, with like an outside shot of landing 13th at best.
