I bought a set of Firestone all weathers that cost $304 CAD before tax ($1200) for $187 after tax. My insurance company has a loan plan as well where they'll pay for the tires, and you pay them back over a 24 or 48 month period. Made the sting far less than it would have been. The tires and the install are $985, the hot water tank and install will be between $1300-1500, and the dental work for the vet is a further $700-900.
