well looking at the first simulation it's clear what the problem is - not enough people are being used to save for some reason, so when there's not enough saves to continue the round just ends and boots out the top contestant

strange though, the pool of savers is decided at the top of the round based on attendance rates, and the rates I saw were definitely normal so there shouldn't be this much people missing

like we don't split Paine out of the FFX group so I just leave FFT+A and FFCC branches combined as their spin-off reps, they aren't big enough to separate

Based on historical save priorities and attendance rates up through Day 80, with arrival times & savings speeds starting from Day 11

obviously priorities based on saving history right now results in things like me saving Sephiroth because of Martin's old deal before switching me to Tifa, and Martin isn't even saving Celes for me because he's only been doing that for like 2 rounds by bot's current records so the simulation doesn't understand recently adjusted trades well

Comparing reality:

• Day 81: Seymour (still alive) - real ded Quina, predicted #15
• Day 82: Ghido (still alive) - real ded Montblanc, predicted #3
• Day 83: Delita (still alive) - real ded Moggle Mog, predicted #5
• Day 84: Emet (still alive) - real ded Jessie, predicted #8
• Day 85: Red XIII (still alive) - real ded Sephiroth, predicted #4

so uhhhh pretty bad job so far! Quina not too off at least

FFTA1+2 has as many entrants as FF3 (5) and more than FF11 (3)

I'm pretty sure they were already split back in the raytan era anyway

full-contest maybe but there's like one time there has ever been more than 1 character so it always just ends up tacking on one more line break for an island entry

3 & 11 are at least numbered mainline entries, they can't hitch on to anything else like a spin-off's indirect sequel can. the real comparison question is how many FF7 Compilation or X-2 characters there are. At least X-2 I'm pretty sure beats out FFTA

(not that I'm against splitting them or anything, it just wasn't worth the effort - CidR & Montblanc came after I started)

more than Nanaa Mihgo who's a pretty insignificant NPC... I guess you could call her the Thief jobmaster but job quests aren't really a thing like in XIV

she is cool tho, and I would assume her SMFFFC debut is before the expansions that introduce actual good characters & stories

I actually really like Nanaa Mihgo's mom, Romaa Mihgo who is a main character to the Wings of the Goddess Windurst story quests

I would imagine you ran out of alive priorities remaining so bot just made you pick a random character remaining

in the full-version simulations you can assign Save priorities as well as Antivote priorities, so if there's no positive priorities left you'll run down the anti-votes reverse priority. Alternatively if you forgo ranking characters you don't care about, bot will randomly choose between them before your antivotes priorities\

since bot's just running off of historical voting, everything is just assigned as positive priorities, so you must've ran out.
