Alright, let me further clarify lol since you guys didn't like what I posted. Obviously if they're a neo-nazi shouting on the roofs about Joe rogan everyday, then yeah it's a red flag. That's not even a red flag, that's a run far, far away situation. If they just watch Joe Rogan for fun once in a while, no one is going to care about that. We've all done it. Or if they're saying extreme MAGA stuff, then yeah, red flag.

One can assume that "Listening to Joe Rogan" means that they listen on a fairly consistent basis, and not "I see clips come up on my feed from time to time when he says something ridiculous"

Uh, that last one reminds me of a girl I dated. She actually called me a yes man once and made a big deal out of the fact she thought I was too agreeable, I tried to start.... being less agreeable? and it resulted in stupid petty arguments and a breakup. It was a classic "do this...but not like that" criticism

As someone who doesn't like arguing for the sake of it if I don't have a strong opinion/strong knowledge of something, it makes people think I'm just going along with whatever they say to get laid/keep the peace when I'm usually actively listening and trying to be considerate

Possibly possessive people who want their partner to devote the majority, if not all, of their time to them.

Which, they could develop hobbies they do together, however it sounds like the contention is "the more hobbies they have the less time for me"

Rogan kept Alex Jones on his show well after it became apparent how unhinged and dangerous he was, so anyone telling me he just went off the deep end politically to me is only just seeing it. Guy should've been kicked off the air and sued alongside Jones.

I certainly don't disagree, I don't know his entirety of political guests, though I know he's had people ranging from the Fuck Bois founder, McInnes to Bernie Sanders.

I think the litmus test for me is when he started boosting Ivermectin, because around that time he was also "against Trump" but only because he was pro-DeSantis. Now he's pro-Trump because DeSantis turned out to be a disappointment.

His reputation as a host, often a criticism, is that he would usually just nod along and wouldn't push back against the objectively terrible shit some guests said. Now he himself is saying objectively terrible shit.

The only people I ever see talking about "red flags" are single people, and they are usually single because they are insufferable to be around.

Yeah, he's definitely not an intellectual. But he's not completely fake, and his Candace grilling was probably quite a net positive as it exposed her as stupid in this really candid setting on a large platform.

She had her guard down a bit and probably thought it was a safe space so there was a mask off moment. He had her backpedaling and stuff in a way I hadn't seen her on various network interviews

Basically I can't imagine many people here on CE watching that video and not having at least a small respect boost for Rogan

Frankly that one is brilliant as it pretty acts as a way to see the % of MAGA in the study as it gets around all of the standard dogwhistles. For instance, the "they say Black Lives matter" will get the ones whose brains haven't turned to complete mush to recognize that acting like that is something that matters in a negative way pretty much outs them, but by making it something innocuous as "cows milk" it makes them unable to recognize that freaking out over that outs them just as hard.
