No, 1 and 3 are fine the way they are. And nobody cares enough about 2 for that to be remade.

Im usually all for remakes buttttt ehh.

A remade dmc 3 will prob just play like dmc 5. I don't want that at all tbh cuz dmc 5 already exists. Dmc 3 has fewer creative options but makes up for it with a faster mashable pace esp with ubisoft port played at higher fps with mods. It feels really great to play imo. Attacks come out lightning quick and gravity is harsher which greatly speed up the game (if you have bongo mash style you'll notice the diff between dmc 5 and dmc 3). I doubt remade dmc 3 will offer this experience with whatever current engine is used by Capcom.

Dmc 2 Is fine as is

Dmc 1 remake would be cool if gameplay stays sorta the same as og. Like no focus on long combo stuff.

Maybe remaster for 1 and 3, update texture, also remove fixed camera angles. Haven't played dmc2 yet but maybe that one would be perfect for remake?

Anyways yeah a remade dmc 3 would suck. It'll be a lesser dmc 5 and I don't want that

I would rather DMC2 be DE-made. As in, they wipe all history of it from existence and the series just goes from 1 to 3 because lolrandom.

Wouldn't mind a complete remake of 2 storywise and give Dante his normal attitude rather than the Silent one.

Yeah, I agree that getting rid of fixed camera angles would be a good enough reason, provided the original gameplay itself isn't changed.

I know Capcom has no ideas at all but what would the explanation for remaking 1 and 3 be?

The HD Collection is fine in my opinion. I'd prefer Devil May Cry 6.

I'd take a remake of both 1 and 2.

Now that some systems and ideas from 2 have been perfected with 5, maybe we could get an interesting new gameplay that isn't all over the place.

One just feels kinda slow to play, and a bit outdated. It could do nice frome a very faithful remake.

nah, there is just too many games to play as is, as much as i loved dmc1, i dont think i have time to go back and play it again with how many great new games are coming out every day it feels like

A remake of 1 would be fine as long as they don't just modernize it, don't give it style changes, don't give it wacky weapons, just make DMC1 with better graphics and controls

2 desperately needs a remake but I don't think they would risk spending money on remaking the worst game in the series unless they made it into practically a new game

This is my opinion without outside influence. I wasn't into the online gaming community bubble till around 2013 way after the initial dmc 2 controversy (which i assume happened when the game released in 2003?).

What was the reaction to dmc 2 on gamefaqs in 2003? I was here for the reaction of DmC. I remember many people upset about it. Even i felt pretty angry at the time
