Denver got pretty close to making it not one. I remember they were at least somewhat close to getting a late TD and if they had, they would have matched the only other game where a team scored exactly 70.

Fun fantasy football nugget.

I accidentally drafted kicker Matt Gay from Indy on a misclick in my fantasy draft. Ended up riding with him anyway the first couple of weeks but finally swapped him out for a better prospect.

He scores 24 fantasy points today. fml. Thank goodness I will likely win this week still anyway.

@guffguy89 idk what media you're listening to, but I didn't hear that. I heard pretty much what you said - that he's an unknown, and some media saying the Packers were underrated this year. I think a lot of the negative talk was couched in the assumption that Packers in general were in more of a rebuilding year and that the whole NFC North would suck compared to most divisions.

That being said, so far he seems average, not great, with some spans of missing throws and some spans of hitting throws. 4th quarter performance today really saved him, as well as maybe the Carr injury, but you can win games in the NFL like that

Either one additional or one fewer score would change the outcome so I would say they are one score games.

I think of it as "the final margin is within one score" but in this case it's not because it's tied

Within one score means the difference is <= 8. 0 <= 8.

But if you tied, you weren't within a score of the other team. You had the same score.

The whole point of the stat was to show his record in close games. It wouldn't make sense to exclude ties. They are defining close by excluding games with a margin of 9 or more. Thinking of it any other way is like some weird lawyer-type-thinking IMO.

I mean I understand the point of the stat
