Hands down birds. Some of them can be nice, but they crap everywhere, and are very temperamental especially to the opposite gender. We birdsat another cockatoo that just straight attacked everyone in the house, so we just shut it in the cage for the entire week until her owner picked her up. We didn't want to do that, but the thing kept flying towards our faces and kept biting us.

Sad too. It was brought up in a bad home so it wasn't entirely its fault, but at the same time, we had one of them ourselves and it could flip the switch at a moments notice. The one I feel really bad for is the owner. She isn't going to be able to date with that menace in her house as its extremely protective of her... and also attacks her, but she's got the "I can't give it away after its already been given away once" bug.

Not that I hate them, but I have the biggest issue with dogs. They're the ones that have a habit of licking and rubbing their snout all over you, and I'm germophobic so it grosses me out.

Probably dogs. I don't hate dogs, I generally like them, but dogs are the only pet where there's basically a 50-50 chance of whether the owner has control over them, or whether they just jump all over you.

I particularly don't like dogs as pets because they're simply too clingy at times.

Don't know about hate but hamsters are about worthless as pets. Super short lifespans, stink if you don't clean the enclosure constantly (rodents shit and piss constantly), chew through their little plastic tubes and escape...

They would all die in my home.

A few days ago I woke up super miserable and with a pollution readout of CO2 and VOC each over 1000. Property manager sent his assistant around to say professional will check out the furnaces Tuesday.

I worked for Petco for about 7 years, I by far got bit by hamsters more than anything else, maybe combined. Those Siberian dwarf hamsters half the time are vicious fucks and are awful pets for kids.

Yeah birds is a really big category. I only have experience with budgies and cockatiels and they're too small and friendly to hurt anyone. But you could have one of those giant parrots or something with claws designed for rending flesh and beaks designed for eating meat. Scary, definitely don't want something like that. My little guys can barely break a seed open.

I always like birds, but they tend to take to one or two people in the house so they're more of a personal pet than a family pet. My step father bought a cockatiel for some reason and it ended up not letting anyone but me touch it. He got jealous and gave it away, making me put it in a box because he couldn't pick it up. That felt so wrong, like I betrayed its trust.

You should really only have a dog if you're out in the country or on a farm or something.
People like to imprison dogs in the city and have them bark all day 5 feet away from their neighbors

Both the birds I was talking about are White Cockatoos, so for those who don't know anything about birds, essentially white parrots. They can't really talk, but their squawks are deafening.

Yeah that's like 3 times bigger than a cockatiel. Too much bird for me.

The male, that my friend owned was a sweetheart. He started getting aggressive though so he had to be rehomed. The female owned by the one we birdsat for was just a nightmare though.

I have one female budgie and she can be moody for sure. But her bites don't hurt and she isn't loud (are budgies ever loud?). Budgies are definitely the best bird.
