Most people can't drink it, I love freaking out randos and tourists by drinking it down! The reason you "can't find water" is because tap water is actually drinkable in the EU. You're supposed to fill up a reuseable water bottle or glass with it. Or go to a grocery store and buy it there. That said, it is quite easy to get bottled water in restaurants in southern Europe, like Portugal, Spain, and Italy. I mean, my situation is definitly above average, but I have a public tap water fountain 50m away from my workplace, one is 250m away from my home, and another one is 500m away in the other direction. And that's ignoring any kind of public bathroom were you can just use the tapwater you wash yout hands with. Ive had mostly the traditional popular beers and the dunkels. All have been really easy to drink. Ive gotten some German beers in America at the store and they didnt taste as good as they do here. Maybe its the water? Environment Im in?
