At least, my expectations were through the floor to begin with and it's better than that.

Most of the casting choices are really good. The themes are darker than in the manga, which kinda works. Buggy is surprisingly creepy. They've tightened up the story and added in some exposition scenes which are pretty great.

Haven't quite decided how I feel about Sanji yet.

Sanji is amazing. If you're on the fence about the actor, look at some of the content on Netflix's YouTube channel where they interview the cast and such. He's a chill dude who actually learned to cook and do kicking martial arts in preparation for the role.

The problem is they cut most of his introduction arc.. what? I'm not salty, you are.

I'm actually kind of annoyed how it was good anyway. Really wish they hadn't cut the screen time for my second favorite villain so hard.. >_>

My biggest disappointment was no "Santoryu Ougi: Saizen Sekai!" through he still went through the gestures of it but I wanted him to say it.
