Not a backlash against anything she did, but just her in general. She has become so popular and her brand has become so powerful that the media literally reports every single little thing she does nowadays.

Because of that I'm surprised there hasn't been a huge backlash yet of people who are just simply tired of seeing her everywhere, every day. I'm not saying I'm one of those people because she seems sweet IRL but I wonder if a backlash like this is inevitable since some might feel she is just overexposed now.

She's very easy to avoid if you're not interested in her. The only things I know about her from the last few years is she's re-recording her albums because the producer is a butt-king, her fans caused an earthquake and she had some issue with a ticket selling site for her tour.

Every single time someone disagrees with me and then sees my avatar they try to use it against me. People love to hate her, I have no idea what you're talking about.

Because she is a decent person and doesn't involve her self in scandalous behavior, as far as I can tell.

Hard to believe if you go out into the U.S. public where they play safe pop/radio songs. You may not realize you're hearing her songs, as I had to learn myself, however I'd wager it would be harder to avoid it.

Though I seem to recall you are from...Sweden? So I imagine it's different with your own local safe pop/radio songs in public.

She seems mostly harmless. Easily avoidable too.

God forbid you date her tho you'll be another song that she's made millions off of oof. That should be her controversy honestly.

I'm sure I've heard her songs while out in public, but ultimately I don't hear too much about Swift herself. Not really something I keep track of. I've no beef with her or anything like that.

Shes helping getting young people registered to vote, so they think this is election interference.

She is extremely liberal and has sung about LGBTQIA+ issues for a long time. Buncha morons.

Right, which I attribute to her not really being scandalous. Like, yeah she's dating Kelce now, compared to Ariana Grande and Live action Spongebob dissolving 2 marriages for what will likely be a few years of hot sex at best, it's just not really "news".

However, the media does enjoy commenting on her ending/beginning relationships.

But other than that, she like stimulates economies ( one study estimated CO GDP gained 140m from two performances in July, as an example) and broke Ticketmaster due to increased demand for her current tour.

Her music sucks and it and it fucking annoys me she's young enough that I'll likely have to put up with her existing my entire life

Lots of people hate Taylor Swift and find her annoying. They gather on the internet to moan about how all pop music is so bland these days, or that they don't understand how someone without giant tits and/or arse can be considered attractive.

However, she has never done anything to provoke a wider negative response.

Only reason I don't like her is because she cheats on her partners. She's even written multiple songs about it. Just seems so hypocritical to me that she's always going on about guys not treating her right while she's out having affairs.

I know little of her music and life. I remember her Grand Ole Opry debut and was impressed by her talent at such a young age, but other than that, I don't know a single song she sings by name or lyrics.

She's huge, but it feels like she's one of the easiest big names to not constantly see articles about unless you're looking for them.

I know she exists. That's more than I can say for most celebrities. But she just feels kinda there despite the fame. Like you hear about Taylor Swift and go "huh she's kinda famous" and then you go about your day.
