I made it like 30% through the patch notes before I looked at the scroll bar, saw how much was left, and gave up

so yeah they probably had to rewrite every file

Yeah it will do that, mine went up to 6 years at one point. Then it will unpack whatever and jump down to a normal reasonable time then climb back up. This patch is a weirdly delivered.

I think I missed out on the Karlach Romance. Just finished ACT 2, then talked to her and she says something along the lines of "bummer, can't catch lightening in a bottle, but being friends is cool".
I upgraded her twice and kissed her after the second upgrade.
Is there anyway to rekindle the romance?

What was the reason for changing multiselect on controller/PS5? It just made invetory management even more horrible.

I love the game but it's got one of the worst goddamn inventory systems.

I didn't have any issues with the inventory system until that bug were leaving party members at the camp causes their alchemy bag shit to duplicate into your inventory

Yeah, this is my only real complaint. It doesn't organize very well even after you sort it, just gimme a tab or bags that I can put every type of item into. The search bar is nice, but you have to cycle each character to see if it's their inventory, and I can't switch inventory with people who aren't in my party, so I'm gonna ignore whatever I was looking for to avoid the whole party swap a roo for something that they may not even be carrying.

i took a few bags and sorted it manually
got one bag for scrolls, one bag for potions, one bag for magical items i'm not currently using and one bag for important letters/texts

though i wish i could tag them or something

I did that too on PS5 until I noticed items inside bags could not be places on the item wheels. So I had to take them out of the bags.

After letting it sink in, this game is probably the best game of the generation so far

Astarion seems to dislike me now

like every time i talk to him he's like "oh, it's you again"

Tab and go to character sheets and check his relationship meter at the bottom

yeah, it's still in the "character is neutral to you" region but clearly on the negative side of it
not that it matters much, i just don't want him to actively hate me. that could get annoying
gonna have to boost him a wee bit now

meanwhile, i just danced with Wyll, and he seemed to believe it was a romantic thing, and i felt so bad when i turned him away at the end and he just looked like a wounded puppy
