Unsuprised_Pika 03/11/24 7:56:31 PM #480:	Mostly done with trying my hand at Goku's Kamehameha pose. https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/forum/2/2994a40b.jpg A few touch ups here and there, gotta finish the legs, finish the mouth ink a few misc spots etc. Some clear errors here there really is no fixing fully. Kinda boxed myself in a couple spots with notable errors and the bottom hand just doesn't look as good as the top one here...but I learned, tried new things and pushed my limits. Someone much stronger then him to motivate him to get better. I didn't grow up with much more then bits and pieces of dragon ball as a kid but it set the standard for and inspired many things I did enjoy and I got into it later through Dragon Ball Super, fan projects like DBZ Abridged etc. Overall Dragonball Z was a big influence on my life even indirectly and later became a more direct influence. Toriyama wasn't just DragonBall but its certainly quite a legacy even before accounting for his other works or aspects of his life. I'm still not super happy with this page (and I forgot her mole). The lack of movement frame, for one, but also it seems tough for me to make it evident she's still hugging on the third panel, without making it look decidedly worse. Skill issues become apparent when you try to convey something, but run into trouble figuring out how to convey it properly. Like, I do think it looks better, if only because more effort was put into things, but it feels like a marginal improvement. tbh, even though it's the point of the 2nd panel, I get the sense the face is a bit too offmodel in the 2nd panel. Also using screentone means I'm a lot lazier with the dark hair than I am with the white hair, which I feel it also evident in the 2nd panel, at the very least. I can never, ever make it look decent when trying it myself, the color is just off, or it ends up being too much. I think its sort of an underrated thing in terms of difficulty. I can never, ever make it look decent when trying it myself, the color is just off, or it ends up being too much. I think its sort of an underrated thing in terms of difficulty.
