2 of those players are 2 way guy. 2 of them are guys who are 12-15th man on the roster and never see rotation minutes.

And yet somehow our 11th pick in the draft (Jett Howard) was not flown in from our G-league team to play. Man is never gonna get minutes this year

Refs incorrectly attributed a foul to Suggs in the Magic game causing him to foul out in the final 2 minutes. It was his 5th foul rather than the 6th but he had no idea because why would he, he didn't commit the foul.

The game has subsequently gone to OT. Suggs is possibly the best G defender in the league (he's definitely in the top 3). If we lose this game because of it (we were up by multiple possessions when he fouled out), I'm going to be pissed

Must be a bad tear if he's out for the season. Not gonna say career altering like it can be for pitchers in baseball, but yeah not an ideal injury.

We won in the way we were supposed to against a badly depleted Magic team, though I'm not wild we didn't just put the hammer all the way down kinda. But at least we didn't outright lose like Denver did to them either.

With the players the Magic had missing it was a horrible matchup for us so I wasn't surprised it wasn't close. I had tickets but didn't go because I expected that sort of thing and there was a horrendous storm with tornado warnings like an hour before tipoff

Kawhi got a 3/152 extension, paul george probably coming at some point as well

You know we've been down bad when the Suns take a 27-point lead into the 4th and I feel like there's a good chance we lose

I still think the Suns will improve as the season goes as long as they stay healthy. Like they haven't had a chance to figure out rotations. I think people forget that this is basically a new roster. The only teammates that have played longer than a year on this team are Booker, Okogie and Lee, and Lee has been out all year. Booker hasn't even been playing with KD for a year.

There is lots of parity in the league, yea some bottom dwellers are real, real bad, but there doesn't seem to be a super dominant team this year, and a bunch of teams bunched together with similar records. Playoffs should be fun.

I'll always have a soft spot for MJ because he was the player of my childhood but the Spurs became my favorite team because of Duncan (and David Robinson, too).

So you not only share the same favorite team as I do, but also the same favorite player. Cool.

Because I can, and it's not like what they already have is working out great. I'm not worried about how a bunch of pick swaps 4-5 years from now are going to pan out.

I think starting Jones now has proven that they are at least a slight step above the other basement dwellers. I know Cade is injured and Charlotte is perpetually so, but SAS's efficiency is notably improving on both ends of the floor and Wemby is steadily figuring things out.

The entire Last Dance documentary unabashedly painted Krauss as the villain of the Bulls dynasty, so that reaction shouldn't be surprising.

Sad but not surprising

If Wemby doesn't sit tonight, the Spurs would've ended up with a nice little 3-game win streak going. Too many easy paint points that just don't happen if he's protecting the rim instead of Dominick Barlow or Mamukelashvili.

And I like Barlow a lot but he's a 4 long-term.

On a more somber note, a warriors assistant coach had a medical emergency yesterday, and just passed away. Very sad.

That top 6 protected Raptors pick that the Spurs own is looking mighty nice right now.

Way too many minutes and points by the starters, but at least we didn't lose to the Pistons and I can finally stop worrying.

An interesting stat I heard last night after the game was that the Wolves have the best record in the league when heading into the 4th quarter trailing (5-8). That also means we've only given up the lead while holding it starting the fourth 3 times all year. On pace for 60 wins, but no idea if it happens still. It's still a bit of a strange world for a very tenured fan of this franchise; to have led the Western Conference for the majority of the season so far is still a bizarre thing to wrap my head around.

Our upcoming schedule is super favorable, after the big showdown against OKC tomorrow night.
