I voted for McCain.

The people who worked their ass off, got into a hard major, and work mentally demanding jobs such as hard engineering do well. But you know who does even better? Guys named Chad and Britney who waltzed into an easy ass degree such as communications or psychology or English, joined a frat or sorority, and partied through college. Then they got sweet ass jobs in bulls*** jobs such as sales/management/marketing, often cracking the whip on the hardworking and far smarter STEM/engineering people, who earn less than them and work 3x more.

Money isn't the end all be all. And the market is so stacked that it's all about who you know and not what you know. Don't knock on folks' success here. They're not doing anything illegal or damaging to others, they're just playing the game in a way that rewards them greatly.

More left-leaning, I suppose, but I would describe myself as being much less political in general. The Left vs Right thing seems so ridiculous when you realize that we are all victims, but the system has divided us. Im not driving myself crazy over politics this time.

see the problem now? Our society is supposed to be built upon social mobility. But the top is guaranteed for the in group, who just need to get a C, maybe a C+ on an easy major to the get an easy ass job that pays too dollar handed to them.

Unfortunately the people who gamed the system are so incompetent at managing and running the company, that they do great harm to those below them.

I only use the library computer when I do office work. It has better reception and priviligers than using my cell phone on the job site.

Absolutely more liberal, and I was already on the left to begin with.

As a minority in America, conservatives have absolutely nothing to offer me or my family's well-being.

Pretty much this. I'm also gay and black and I have no understanding of why there are gay or black conservatives. They are literally against everything we are.

Outside of the "pick me's", it's the same propaganda that effects white working class conservatives that vote against their own class interests.

Also, this is just my personal experience, but some of the black conservatives I've spoken with tend to be contrarian and conspiracy minded, like many white conservatives that fantasize themselves as insiders fighting the shadowy globalist conspiracies as opposed to the boring reality of doing the work to fight entrenched systems perpetuating their own power in broad daylight.
