Several professional doctors inform you that you're one of the very few who is near-resistant (99.9%) against COVID. Would you still get booster shots?

What's the harm in turning near-resistant into nigh infectable?

Yes, to help others who are immunocompromised and actually can't get the shot. Better for herd immunity.

Nah, because I understand how probability works. Unless it's 100% from the vaccine, the shot will do nothing at that point.

You can do that already by being mindful and wearing a mask if you feel even so much as a scratchy throat (like the Japanese do) and not breathe on other people in enclosed spaces if you're sick.

There's more than one way to skin a cat and be mindful of other people.

I don't think immunology even works like that; the odds of the vaccine introducing anything to increase your coverage by a significant margin instead of being redundant, seem very low.

So, no, I don't see the point in adjusting for the 1/1,000 chance.

So, a 1/1000 chance of having better than 999/1000 chance of dodging Covid. Sound like an abodolute win regardless.
:p
