I have mobility issues, and I need so work I can do. Does anyone have any suggestions.

I was thinking about swimming. But the closest pool is a 30 mins away . And I really don't think I am motivated to drive 30 mins to work out.

I have heavy bag and speed bag. I guess that can be low impact if I don't move around a lot. About I would lose half of the workout.

Take a walk each day.

Walk to various places you normally drive if possible.

I was thinking about DDP Yoga, I was about to start and them I got hurt so I might think that.

I could talk around my community. I am in the sticks so I can't walk to places that I go to lol. But like around my area I could do loops.

Yoga is very good, and walking is also amazing. You could also consider getting a exercise bike at home if you have the space. Another good alternative would be simply using resistance bands. You could potentially buy a pull up bar, and stand on a stool so you don't have to drop terribly far as well. A small desk elliptical would also be okay. It's not a replacement, and you won't get into shape, but if you're recovering or working at a desk, it's a good alternative to burn a few extra calories while sitting.

Just some starts.

DDP yoga is fantastic
I did it for a while and my back stopped hurting entirely.
Of course, my dumbass stopped doing it and now my back is always killing me. Maybe I'll restart it tonight

Yoga. Its a perfect low impact workout for mobility. There are plenty of youtube channels out there with instructional videos. The biggest (and the one I'd recommend to newbies) is Yoga with Adriene

It can yes.
If you want to work on flexibility+weight loss, DDP yoga is perfect for it. It's a cardio workout disguised as yoga.

Yes. Especially the higher intensity flows like power yoga. But even the less intense flows will promote weight loss

Heavy bag is like the definition of heavy impact. It's just more upper body specific.

When I first started working out, I used workout videos from the TeamBodyProject YouTube channel. They have a few low impact workout routines that still manage to be challenging.

I don't know what your limitations are, but take a look at this and see if it's something you are able to do. It's all standing exercises. No jumping or getting down on the ground

Thank y'all for the help.

And Fafn it just my legs that I am worried about when it comes to impact. If I had some of those hand pedal things I could work the crap out of that lol.

They can burn like 100-200 calories and hour if you pedal hard enough. It's not *great*, but it's actually okay.

I can attest to DDPY being a killer low impact, body building work out. I lost a lot of weight and built up a lot of strength many years ago when I got into that style of yoga.

There's an app for it these days, if DVDs aren't your thing. I believe it may be a subscription thing. They have live classes and plenty of other stuff with it though. So might be worth a look.

If weightloss is one of your goals too, don't forget to re-evalute your diet, if you haven't already. It goes hand in hand with whatever exercise you do and will help you see the results you want

I was also skeptical at first also but literally everyone I've seen talk about it has given it glowing reviews. I don't think I've ever actually seen anything negative about it.
