Stephen A. Smith took shots at an unnamed sports commentator whos widely believed to be Jason Whitlock.

On Wednesdays episode of The Stephen A. Smith Show, Smith was discussing analyst Marcellus Wileys comments about him. Wiley, whos worked at ESPN and FS1, criticized Smith for his treatment of former First Take partner Max Kellerman.

After addressing Wileys comments, Smith had harsh words for someone else he chose not to name.

Theres one particular person who will remain nameless, Smith said, and I will not deny it: I think hes a fat, no-good bastard who I despise to the core. But it doesnt mean that I wish him hard. It just means I know what he is. That is not Marcellus Wiley Im talking about. It aint hard to figure out who the hell Im talking about. But even then, I wish him no harm even though he has made a career out of maligning and ridiculing and trying to wish others the worst.

Im where Im at. That particular individuals where hes at; and Ill leave it at that. And no, Im not talking about Marcellus Wiley again. No, Im not talking about my former colleague on First Take They aint fat bastards who are seeds of the devil Wishing nothing but black folks harm. But Ill leave that for another day for when the time is right.

For those familiar with the sports media landscape, it seemed obvious that Smith was talking about Whitlock. The Blaze Media commentator has taken explicit shots at Smith in the past, and has become notorious for his takes on racial dynamics in America.

I feel ashamed I used to enjoy Whitlock when he guest appeared on PTI in the early 00's. I never really had a problem with anything he said. I'm unsure if he was always a racist fuckbag, but man he did not come across well once Obama was elected.
