At my 2nd job a lot of my coworkers are like this. They will absolutely not give you any info or guide you unless you specifically ask them. It was rather annoying at first but now I don't mind asking them every little single detail that I might be unsure of. I screenshot everything I'm unsure of and then PM it to them asking what does this mean and do. Now I'm annoying them I'm sure. Oh well.

If they want to play games then they will win prizes. Not sure if they want those prizes but gosh darn do they want to win!

No but a normal person who understands their environment would easily grasp implications and the following processes that may cause confusion.

Naw it's just one of those environment where if you don't ask they won't answer. My 1st job, my coworkers are very intuitive in helping me. They know how the work is, they'll see where the confusion I might end up at and they help me through it. I'm more similar in that trait.

Not really complaining. If you read the first post it's more just discussing then anything else really. I am able to conform to what's needed to get shit done.

This is common. Theyll lord information over you. Without it, their seniority counts for nothing

This. That. What is the big deal that tc has with this? Another thing, tc are you also the user vegy? There's like 3 guys with similar usernames

do you think more training/manuals are needed? if so, it might behoove you to document everything so you can reference it later.

So you can read that guy's post but not the other posts? Selective reading is such an awful trait here. And no me and Vegy are completely different people.

I think maybe the issue is that you're not communicating clearly enough, because it sure seems like you're complaining about standard human interactions in this topic lol

Always funny running into people that whine when new hires don't ever know anything and are useless, but when those new hires actually do ask them any questions they make the process as excruciating as possible instead of just not being an asshole.
