Recently watched it. Felt like a typical Indiana movie.

The lady wasn't in anyway poised to take over Indiana, replace him or Mary sue. She was painted as a bad person who needed him to guide her to the right path.

The typical Indy movie isn't a steaming pile of cow dung. This movie needs to be completely forgotten.

But it wasn't.

Eh, I'm just not interested in seeing an old Indiana Jones. At least with Star Wars, it made sense for older characters to pass the torch on screen, but Indiana Jones is about Indiana Jones, and a geezer version of him doesn't seem compelling to me. I'm fine with treating it as a trilogy and not having seen 4 and 5 and only snippets of the old TV show.

This movie is more like MGS4

One final hurrah. But he is cranky the whole time. Basically plays real life Harrison Ford.

Sure, but I'm not really interested in watching Dr. Jones get decrepit. The time for a new movie in the series was in the early 90s. We're about 25+ years too late for the series to continue.

Just leave it as its thing from the 80s.

For sure it was a cashgrab before he too old to act any longer

Washes the taste of Crystal Skull out of my mouth. And, hot take, anyone who says Crystal Skull was better needs to quit snorting glue.

There was dumb parts like why did Mads have a gang of super loyal followers and the government agent girl. But turn your brain off and is fairly decent Indiana movie.

It could have been left as a fifteen minute short film about Indy fighting Nazis on a train and I would've been happy, but it's a major step up from the previous movie.

It was honestly one of the most incredibly just there movies for me.

I didnt think it was horrible. I didnt think it was amazing. Nothing in it really stuck out to me. It was just there.

Definitely my least favorite for sure. For all of Crystal Skulls flaws, the movie had a lot of really cool moments too, and definitely had a spark to it due to Spielberg and Lucass involvement.
