Current Events > Act 2 of Cyberpunk has shorted me out completely lol. Minor spoilers.

I 100% completed Watson and did all the gigs/NYPD/Psychos, have about 1.2m eddies in the bank and am level 30/street cred 50. Effectively a maxed out character before the tutorial even ended.

Just finished the heist and it was a fantastic mission. But the amount of shit that's opened up is extremely overwhelming since I generally don't love Sandbox games.

I have like 40 gigs, 30 blue missions, 20 more psychos, NYPD all over the place and like twelve orange critical missions. Everywhere. Mama Welles Calling me, Arasaka dudes calling me, Judy calling me, Johnny is appearing literally everywhere and I know it sounds like an odd thing to complain about but I just saved and left the game and haven't even had a 1% urge to boot it back up in three days. It went from "Explore at your own pace, do 1-2 things at a time and the game is slowly opening up for you" to "Thrown in the Atlantic and told to swim in a direction" after one single mission.

Youre exaggerating. You have like two missions to chose from and like 10 optional distractions (3 minutes or so) between them.

Even if he is, my post is talking about the bajillion side activities and gigs that popped up too. I'm not bitching, but it is overwhelming and leans heavily into the sandbox stuff I don't like.

I also found how to make my own filters on the map (I see why that's a feature now, after leaving Watson) and trimmed down the map by like 85%.

I mean, I get it but it sorta seemed obvious what was going to happen once you left Watson. All the stuff that you had been doing was going to grow to a grand scale.

those NCPD side hustles are VERY quick. its just one combat encounter then look for a shard or open a crate. when I get bored I pick a neighborhood and smash the whole area out in like 10 mins.
