This is prob a stupid question, but idk how phones work.

My old phone has no SIM card obv since it's in my new one, but it still has wifi and can connect to YouTube, IG, etc. But does that mean the bill will be higher if I'm connecting to the internet on both my old phone and my new phone?

If you're just connecting to your wifi, no.

Okay, so when it says I used 270MB of wifi data today, what does that mean?

no

your old phone just works off wifi. the sim card is what connects to the phone companies network. but you're fine using it on wifi or playing games or using it as an mp3 player(with the mp3s transferred to it).

Oh, okay, I think I get it. So without the SIM card, it's like it doesn't count as a phone.

Even though I still have the internet on it and it updates the weather app, etc.

That's just how much data it has used from your wifi. As long as you don't have a cap on how much wifi data you can use, you're fine.

No. You're paying for service. Your old phone is basically an ipad or something.
