His reasoning might have been driven by vengeance, or his Mal'ganis hate boner, but it was still the correct decision to have been made, even so. Uther was too busy huffing his own farts and Jaina too young and immature, so they abandoned him leaving him without a support circle and wound up with a Lich King of their own making as a result.
