So, I'm just guessing,

1) Lady buys a house or property with the intention of renting it out for mega profits
2) Shit stain tenant intentionally causes damage
3) Lady thinks AirBNB is going to...reimburse her for the damage?
4) Lady some how didn't think buying insurance for a major investment (that cost her a life ruiningly huge amount of money) was a good idea

Everyone reads that thread and only sees the buzzwords without looking further into the story and her replies where she says she has temp housing. Her Homeowner's Insurance covered her damages/repairs and the 300k "debt" is actually her own calculation of lost revenue. She is only "homeless" by the fact that she can't live in the house she currently owns because it's undergoing repair.

But also fuck AirBNB

Shh, don't let the full story get in the way of a popular narrative.

Lol she left out quite a bit in her thread.

https://www.sfchronicle.com/sf/article/mission-district-airbnb-damage-complaint-18438767.php

While Gemzer later clarified in an interview that she has never been homeless, she maintained that the flooding of her two-unit home left lasting emotional scars. As of Friday, she was days from giving birth.

She recently signed a lease for another home in the Mission District while workers repaired her two-unit Edwardian building, which had to be dried out and stripped to the studs, she said. Gemzer bought it in 2018 with plans to rent out the upper floor and live in the unit below. Initially, she and her husband had long-term tenants, but in October 2021, they converted the flat to a short-term rental, wanting more flexibility after they decided to start a family. City records indicate that she applied for a short-term rental permit, which was denied, at which point she began booking intermediate rentals without authorization.
