mondoshawan2 10/20/23 4:43:46 PM #1:	on r/jokes, someone posted a joke about a kid playing with sand and poop, a cop asking what he was doing, the kid replying he was making a cop, and the cop kicking his ass. i commented 'good thing he wasn't black', and later got a message saying i'd been permabanned for violating rule 1 by promoting "identity-based hate or attacks". i've appealed and i'm hoping iit'll get cleared up (to me, it's obvious that was a joke about cops being ultraviolent against POC), but do you think I have a shot? --- "muulti-pass!" <cite>mondoshawan2 posted [p:976768352] in may have b... BlueTigerLion 10/20/23 4:46:00 PM #4:	Mods on the internet rarely overturn their warnings, bans, suspensions. You can always just make a new account and move on. Moderators can ban whoever they want, except admins for whatever they want, whether you like it or not. If I wanted to ban you from my subreddit because of your username, post history, or even just because I don't like the way you type, I can. Doesn't mean I should though. There are no rules against banning someone in the Moderator's Code of Conduct, meaning it isn't a violation to ban you just because. As long as the Code of Conduct isn't being violated, Reddit doesn't care. Someone reported a post I had made from months ago saying I was downvoting him for racism. As I was already serving a ban for ban evasion it was forever. Making a new account is piss easy.
