Hey, it wasn't solely a rhetorical question, I'm interested in what you consider to be the "most extreme super hardcore left".

Could be the case! I could've seen an elaborate setup or over-obsessed false flag or whatever! A super extreme left whatever is essentially a caricature whether real or not in my view, and in my view that's what the topic is asking.

Like, really, I'm not fighting you or looking to antagonize or anything. You don't need to be so hyperdefensive to the point where you see an attack or right wing secret sauce on a silly topic that I happen to be engaging. I get that the internet can do that a person, I've been there myself, just, like, unclench a bit.

Slightly conservative is more attractive in Southeast Asia.

I guess you're thinking that liberals want the vaccine and conservatives don't = liberals want to be vegan and conservatives don't.. but that's not actually necessarily true.

I don't have issues with someone wanting to be vegan; it's admirable even. I just don't think I could go there myself unless vegan cheese, milk and meat get a lot better; impossible burgers are getting there. Here's to a lab meat future I guess, but until then..

If those are my only options I'm walking into the river.

That was the only connection my anti-vaxx comment had towards it. I was by no means saying they were equivalent, just that even though there are left-wing anti-vaxxers, it's right-wingers who have let it consume them to a point it's a part of their very being and so we associate the current COVID anti-vaxx movement with right-wingers, even though they are not exclusively the only people with that mentality.

In right-wing's contempt for both veganism and COVID vaccination it seems to center around cruelty's sake.

Ultimately it's more that right-wingers tend to make this shit a core aspect of their identity, whereas left-wing/liberal examples will mention it as how they live their life, but they're not typically going onto forums or social media comments sections/threads and intentionally spreading anti-vegan or anti-vaxx misinformation or conspiracies as right-wingers are infamously known to do.

Obviously there are right-wing vegans (I've never heard of or met any, however I don't doubt they exist) and it's not like every right-winger is an anti-vaxxer, however their political apparatus in the U.S., at the very least, has made it a part of their political identity which they must shove onto others rather than just a way they live their life.

It really enlightened some things for me, the way antivax made a u-turn in association overnight, relative to political media perspectives.

Hardcore liberal would be fine though.

Depends on the view points of the slightly conservative. If they care about human rights from sexual orientation to racism to abortion then Im good with them. That knocks out pretty much all of the big issues I can think of that tend to be conservative view points and they are more likely to consider other human right issues such as homelessness.

My politics don't align with either the liberal or the conservative so whoever is less annoying/more attractive/a better partner etc.

I hate religious people who's only point of religion is to throw it in your face that they're religious.

Depends on what's meant by "hardcore".

I could probably tolerate all sorts of "hard-core" and radical beliefs, assuming the person wasn't an asshole.

Also depends on the "conservative" beliefs in question.

Whatever closest to the center is lol. Hardcore politicial in either direction is a red flag

An "all lives matter" banner or any flag with a blue line through it would be worrisome too.

While I definitely consider myself on the liberal side, "slightly" anything beats "hardcore" anything as I feel "hardcore" comes with so much more BS. It would be annoying to have someone make their liberal-ness their entire personality - so yeah, no thanks.

I mean, it really depends on what "super hardcore" means in this scenario. Like, a super hardcore liberal could also be a huge environmental advocate or LGTBQ ally. A super hardcore leftist could be the conspiracy theorist type who thinks North Korea is a secret worker's paradise.

Generally speaking, I'd prefer either of those things to someone who just bitches about taxes all the time ignorantly and otherwise has just checked out of politics because they are too privileged to be influenced by it though, or someone who reflexively thinks the US military can do no wrong. Moderate conservatives are still irritating as fuck.

My answer would have been different before the Conservative Party in this country openly tried to overthrow the government and became an evil cult, but here we are. Slightly supportive of obvious evil is still support for evil.
