I wish I could enjoy things like normal people and just get mildly disappointed by all the reasons they suck.

Completely wrong opinions aside I wonder it sounds like a joke review.

I played the first condemned on 360. I got a glitch at the final boss where you can't use your weapons, so all I could do is kick them. But I couldn't win with just kicks. And after many tries I just gave up and never finished it

Partly cause of that, I never tried the sequel

Condemned 2 is ok. It improves on some parts of the 1st game, like not having doors that can only be broken by sledgehammers and actually turning the detective sequences into puzzles instead of instruction following simulators.

But the story fell apart so badly, they dropped any pretense of realism. Your chubby middle aged sidekick became a hotbabe, you became a generic grizzled "down his luck drunk" and

MAJOR SPOILERS

The plot becomes everyone went insane because of hub-caps on the wall... and you're superpower is that if you yell at people enough their heads explode.....

Plus it gives up on the meele focus and goes full on shooter, enemies have guns, you have a gun, enemies drop bullets. Your reward for beating the game once is an infintie ammo gun.

On the whole it feels like a letdown and even the devs have wiped their hands of it, refering to it as "A bad hangover" and that it would be ignored if they ever made a Condemned 3.

But it's really not "Awful" it's just... a hot mess. A victim of the "All games need multiplayer, take half the dev team off the single player and focus on that" which hurt a ton of games back then
