If you got injured in public how would the majority of your areas citizens react? Would they help? Would they ignore you? Would they try to rob or hurt you?

They'd probably help where I am now. There's enough foot traffic. Every other time it has happened I've been with friends, and they've helped out.

I live in Tennessee and it sucks here but people will help you if something bad happens

Facts.

Even if we pull over to check on our motors, trailers, etc. A good Samaritan in a pickup would at least drive up to the side and ask if we need anything. I'm the same way too. There's also a muddy backroad that shows up on the GPS where a lot of out-of-towners get stuck after it rains and us locals pull them out with our 4x4s.

Except on the freeway/highway... I ain't pulling over for shit there. Better call AAA.

I'm another who will say the south generally sucks, but the people can be very helpful down here.

Most people here would help. It's a weird mix of assholes that would murder you for your wallet if you're fine but if you tripped and fell they'd sit with you and call an ambulance

as someone who's gotten a surprise ambulance ride, i'd take the mugging tbh.

Luckily, from my experience of living in multiple states across the US, while you're likely to run into assholes at the worst times, you're just as likely to run into good people when you need them...though it's less likely in the biggest cities I think

This happened a number of months ago, but a guy got stabbed up here in Edmonton in public and nobody helped him. Made me fucking sick.
