After watching, in real time, my mom get a virus from a facebook ad that she didn't even click on in like 2009, I was like "Well, that's too fucking easy" and went and got an adblocker.
Even if I personally verified every ad that could ever legally be shown on the internet and that they were safe and reasonable, I'd still use an adblocker. --- The name is wackyteen for a reason. Never doubt. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Don't really remember, been a really long time. I'd accept ads if they were just normal banners on top or side of the page. But popup videos, ads interrupting videos I'm watching etc are absolute no go. Same goes for shitty ads. Especially for those mobile games when I haven't played one in like a decade. Or ads I already marked as irrelevant reappearing. Fuck off with that. ... Copied to Clipboard!
