Sure, I guess. But that's a once a week show. As far as nightly shows are concerned, that would be Seth Meyers, I think.

Wouldnt even call him left wing honestly. He roasts democrats as well.

A person that is truly left wing would roast democrats because democrats are barely left at all.

Any actual left leaning person would be critical of democrats in this country. It's just that we have to support them because the right is so fucking insane.

I see it more as exposing myths or making all of us aware of issues we may have otherwise ignored.

John Oliver is basically doing a public service with Last Week Tonight.

As for left leaning, back when it was on the air Samantha Bee's show was probably the farthest to the left.

Really hate how advocating for basic human rights and decent treatment of employees has to be called "lEfT wINGzz".

Democrats are a moderate centrist party. Only someone who subscribes to Fox News propaganda thinks of them as the 'radical left'.

I haven't watched late night have Stephen Colbert, Seth Meyers, and Jimmy Kimmel gone right wing? Because no one so far has mentioned them and I thought they were liberal.

They're a bit too sanitized to be in the running since they have to appeal to broader audiences on network TV. Simply can't go as hard as cable and streaming shows.

i have noticed that there are a lot of similarities between that old "adam ruins everything" show "last week tonight" in the sense that they both bust a lot of myths, covered a lot of the same topics that other shows often never cover, and they are both left leaning. also, both shows are pretty good.

Mehdi Hasan is waaaaay more left leaning than John Oliver.

i would even say that the people on "the young turks" are much more left leaning than john oliver (even though that show is just a web show).

He's one of the few entertaining ones and that's all that matters to me. I'm also highly annoyed that Max doesn't have previous seasons for some fucking reason (Probably money knowing them)
