I watched I think 2/3 of it. I was going to finish it, but then Netflix down on password sharing and to not risk any trouble for my friend I stopped using the account.

I liked what I saw, but it didnt feel as constantly miserable and depressing as the book, though its been over a decade since I read the book.

War horse is decent only one of those I've seen. It's really hard for me to stomach animals getting hurt tho. I probably have PTSD

It was a visually fantastic movie with great set pieces and attention to detail but the characters are basically nonexistent and the plot jumps around a lot. These are issues I had with the original book too though so I guess it still gets an A as an adaptation.

I think it just sends an email to the account owner who says "yeah I'm currently in whatever city" and then you're good for another month.
At least that's how it's been for us and my brother in law.

Wow almost no one is awar of that book. Congrats man.
I have both.

AQotWF is one of my favorites of all time.

The new movie was okay. But it was different enough to be it own movie.1917 was better.

But as for the new AQ, it doesn't live up to the original or the one from the 70s. Both of which are excellent.

Side note I have ungodly hours in, Verdun. Tannenburg, and Isozo, and my username is All Quite, so there ya go. Very good WWI games.

Noice.

I personally loved BF1. So many fine details and attention paid to the happenings of the war.

Oh, you should definitely check out the ones I mentioned.
They are generally regarded as the most true to history.
Weapons, uniforms, locations, and languages.

Verdun, is the war on the western front.
Tannenburg is on the eastern front.
And Isonzo is the Mountain Battles in Italy. ~It is almost the most recent in the series.

They all have similarities, but they each play very differently.

I played Verdun while it was free. Good game. The tug of war that tends to go on is intense at times.

Sometimes it feels more Survival Horror then some Survival Horror games.
