Never took a class for it and I wasn't able to learn it at home due to family circumstances but it was a spoken language at home so I can understand some sentences.

I lived within 60 miles from the Mexican border all my life. But despite having multiple opertunities, I never learned any of the language.

At least since their is so many Spanish stuff here, I assume I can pronounce a lot of words better than most non Spanish speakers

Made it to level 3 in college, but I was never that great at it. I can say simple things in sentences, but that's about it. Also only really remember the present tense.

I remember that my Spanish teachers used to get mad at me for asking "Cmo se dice 'how' en espaol?". But other than that and a few words I don't remember much Spanish.

I learned Spanish at work so I can name a lot of common room objects and convey requests for amenities in Spanish but anything more complicated than "si puedes limpiar El cuarto dos cero Quatro por fa" is too hard

I know enough to get by. My partner speaks Spanish so I kept up with Spanish lessons for her. So I can understand like 90% of a conversation. Don't ask me to speak it tho, I can never get the accents right.

I know a little bit, but not enough to have a decent conversation or to live in a Spanish speaking community. I took two years of Spanish in school, but it was more fun and games.

I'm a native speaker but I can't really write in Spanish and it's probably not perfect. I can still hold a conversation last time I went to Mexico.

Latino Spanish speakers always seem really understanding and cool about the accents being bad from American English speakers.

If anything I always feel like trying to imitate it just feels kinda offensive lol
