Long story short, two of my employees were dating and it went south. She was being profesional and cool after the breakup, he went...a different direction so I let him go and trespassed him from the property to be safe.
Few weeks later and he's still creeping on her doing the stereotypical cringe shit you'd expect from a teenager with major boundary issues, and it's just escalating. This guy also is not all there, he kept literally bringing up comic characters and upcoming games and shit as I was firing him and explaining why.

So yeah obviously my concern is at what point does he come in and shoot the place up or whatever because while I don't think he would, it also wouldn't surprise me and he fits the profile. As far as I know beyond trespassing him there's nothing else I can do but it's getting kind of scary. He was being made fun of in a group chat he hadn't left yet so now he's probably pissed at the whole shop on top of his ex and her new bf. This also hits really close to home. If yall remember a dear friend of mine was murdered by her stalker ex husband about 6 months back so like I m obviously way more concerned about this than the other employees who are mostly younger and don't get just how quickly this can turn tragic.

If he's stalking and being weird that stuff only ever escalates unless something interrupts the behavior like the police getting involved.

Well that sounds awful. Hopefully he gets over it and moves on rather than do anything destructive or threatening. I wish you and your employees the best.

Might get an armed guard?

I really dont want to detract from the seriousness of it all, and I truly wish both you and her the best with this and hope all goes well.

It's on her unfortunately, because he's keeping it off the property (not showing up, calling etc) there's nothing I can do. But he is going to her house and stalking her online etc

NGL, when I was hired my DM told me I can have a concealed gun but thats not my fave so I do keep one in my car at least

Like three times I had to bring him back on track before it dawned on him he was getting fired. And after it was done he STILL wanted to talk about some new game I've never heard of as I'm like "dude you need to go and I need to go cover your shift so get what you need because you're not going to be coming back since I've got a teenage girl afraid of you". Unreal.
