You are one of those people who abuses the system to the fullest, never takes responsibility for yourself, and always blames others.

It's because of construction, or miscommunication, or because it wasn't specifically laid out in a clear memo or handbook, or because different people have different guidelines.

You were late multiple times in a short period, and instead of recognizing this and wanting to correct it you look for personal justification why you should be able to finish your show or make your coffee. You said you were taking advantage of the rules. You are going to argue with everyone here and still feel you did nothing wrong yet everyone here sees why you are in this situation and probably completely agrees with it. Doesn't that seem to tell you something?

. Ive said over a dozen times now, and this will be at least the second time Im telling you that manger discretion supercedes most written rules in the company. Considering that it was Confirmed that a manager told me this, and Confirmed a second manager didnt bother to actually check. I dont see how this isnt anything but

i literally posted an anecdotal story about them changing the rules regarding managers not showing up and payouts for the day.

it literally feels like yall are only reading half of my post.

Another example: One of the first things our new manager did was change how our employee discounts applied, in the past our discount applied and stacked with every sale and every item in the store. Now it no longer stacks because, he wants to maximize his stores earnings, and while he cant take our discount from us he can change how it stacks.

a third example: Our district manager just recently changed the entire district hours required a week to maintain employee. The actual rule states its only a 15 a week average over 3 months. He changed it to a 20 a week average. Which is 100% in his power

I was nearly sacked recently for a similar reason. I was repeatedly 3-5 minutes late, some even 10 minutes. I work in a school which is extremely strict, even 3 minutes late is considered grounds for dismissal. I was hauled into the headmistress office on so many occasions, I thought I was a goner. But then I mentioned my insomnia which honestly saved me as they can't fire you for a health related issue, although I do start at 12.30pm. Since that telling off I've been consistent with arriving on time, aiming to call a cab 15 minutes earlier which makes a real difference.

at this point youre being disingenuous. Multiple times a month is twice, lets be clear here. And why I was late has nothing to do with the fact management told me there was a grace period I that was under both times.
