No. Even with prior knowledge and a better loadout, pretty much any real human would realistically die by the Gigante fight.

Some parts like the village can be cheesed by anyone. But if you HAD to do that fight, it would be a tough time.

You may be able to skip a lot of it if you were allowed to hop fences and navigate the woods, but in the spirit of these topics, its assumed you have to follow the set path Leon took

Agreed. The odds of surviving the village attack, Del Lago, El Gigante and Mendez are basically zero.

Then youve got Krauser, Saddler, It, the laser room and all manner of other shit.

Nobody in the real world could do it.

I was in the army so with my training I can feel pretty confident in saying no one makes it out of that village

who'd have the best chance? a navy seal? i don't know how even they could survive el gigante, armored el gigante, two el gigantes, the part with a bunch of giant bugs, bitores mendez...any boss of the game. krauser is basically that skill level but with monster power stuff. nobody can survive that.

I don't think any real person is making it out of the village if they have to play it through like Leon did. Maybe if someone is allowed to take their own paths they could escape but if you gotta go through the events and do the fights then no fucking way does any person make it through the village when they all attack you.

I make it to the village at best and die like 30 seconds in.

I spend my time thinking up the best one liner to use before I die.

I mean unless you bring a tank I'm not sure what you think you're going to accomplish. Even if you wear like one of those bomb suits then you're going to be too slow and they'll get through that eventually. There's just too many of them and you can't just tank an axe that gets thrown at you

Yeah I could run and/or hide and leave Ashley to her fate. Maybe somehow the events play out differently enough and Luis survives and saves her with Ada and her protagonist power for some reason.

Never even held a gun in real life. I have no knowledge of how to use one.

If youve got some serious firepower and you bottle-neck the enemies, like by the entrance to the village, your chances arent that bad. Im not saying its risk free and that people couldnt die there, but freedom of choice over the loadout would greatly increase the number of people who could survive.

Youre fighting a crowd of people armed with farming implements while you can have explosives and fully automatic weapons. Youve also got the drop on them.

As others have pointed out though, theres plenty of other parts of the game where it wouldnt massively matter who you were or what weapons you had, youd still be fucked.

think about how you'd fare against a regular person on the street, but they don't care about injuries and all they want to do is kill you.

even if you had some martial arts training, you'd have issues with them because they're going to keep pursuing you until one of you is dead.

i think a big thing to note would be you'd have to reload eventually, are the ganados limited to acting like a video game? you'd also have to deal with the chainsaw people with enhanced durability? They could just start chucking stuff at you while you're reloading. your best option would probably be to post up on a building and destroy ladders
