I imagine it's because people like to make a big deal out of trivial things. Sometimes true, sometimes not. Depends on the "this" that you're talking about.

TC I want you to know it's okay to bitch and whine about minor shit. We all do it to an extent. Somethings that shouldn't be deal breakers become deal breakers to some people. For example, the fact that they spelled Cid's name "Sid" in Final Fantasy The Spirits Within killed everything for me for that movie. I realize it's a silly thing to make a deal breaker but hey, it's me. But that's the thing, you have to realize when your complaints are fully valid or just dumb as fuck.
