The game used a shit ton of religious references for it's own creation and you'd have to be a bit of a scholar of things like Cain and Abel to get what their initial objectives are. This game is a bait and switch. All the initial incidents and shit happening are made to be trivial in the grand scheme of things. It's one of those games where you fight God at the end, or an imitation of it. --- Don't like it? Don't watch it. And I think youre overstating how bad the gameplay is. Its not perfect, and it could be rebalanced a little, but its fine.
