I'm assuming they're going to want to get 10 years of X-Men and FF arcs out there like the 2008-2018 Iron Man to Endgame timeframe so he'd be 60+ by the time that stuff's done?

More than that I definitely assumed he was younger like, Franklin Richards was a child? I guess mid 40s can still work for that so maybe that's a "my bad" moment (actually an incredible "my bad" moment because John Krasinski is apparently 44 years old, holy crap am I bad at judging ages or what lol)

The Marvels was great. Pretty easy top 10 MCU movie for me. Brie, Teyona, and Iman had a lot better chemistry than I was expecting and made me enjoy all 3 of them. Great moments all around and I don't have many complaints.

Haven't watched Disney+ in a long time, including Loki S2. I'll probably get it for December for Loki and What If?. I loved the first season of What If? and the concepts in S2 seem better.

More detailed Pedro Pascal/Fantastic 4 casting info:

- Pascal is not confirmed to play Reed yet. He is in talks and both sides want him to, but the main issue is trying to see if he can schedule it around his prior commitments (Gladiator 2 and The Last of Us Season 2) next year.

- Prior to the SAG-AFTRA strike, they did screen tests for backup choices. The backups were Christopher Abbott and Jamie Dornan. Marvel was reportedly not super happy with either of them, so it isn't clear if they are still the planned backups for Reeds.

- Vanessa Kirby is very likely to be cast as Sue Storm.

- Joseph Quinn is likely to be cast as Johnny Storm.

- Ebon Moss-Bachrach is likely to play The Thing.

- Kevin Feige is looking to cut casting costs to prevent more $250 million movie budgets. Emma Stone and Adam Driver were top casting choices, but they wanted too much money.

- They are casting for Galactus and the top choice is currently Javier Bardem with Antonio Banderas as the backup.

not impugning his acting chops and after watching some Bear clips I'm sold on the voice/mannerism potential, I'm just saying I remember Ben Grimm having a different physical build that he doesn't fit. Which again, doesn't matter unless it's an origin story or there's pre-power flashbacks and even then is just me nitpicking. That's all!!

Now I looked up the 2015 FF movie bomb and I saw they had Jamie Bell cast as him which again doesn't fit in my mind but I guess my mind is off... also with a heaping dose of nostalgia-bias towards the 2000s-era FF casting, lol.

More MCU news cropping up:

- Secret Wars and The Kang Dynasty are supposed to be effectively a part 1 and part 2, similar to Infinity War and Endgame.

- Following the removal of The Kang Dynasty director to have him focus entirely on Shang-Chi 2 and Wonderman, Kevin Feige wants a single director to be in charge of Secret Wars and The Kang Dynasty.

- Wonderman is confirmed to be a "Marvel Spotlight" feature that won't have any major impact on the metastory of the movies.

- Sam Raimi is the top choice to direct Secret Wars and Kang Dynasty. Not clear how likely it is to finally happen, but Feige wants someone who has delivered for the MCU before to direct the two movies. Jon Favreau and Ryan Coogler are the other top choices.

- Multiverse of Madness & Loki writer Michael Waldon is working on the scripts for both Secret Wars and Kang Dynasty.

- The Kang Dynasty may get a title change to make it more obviously a continuation of Secret Wars (and possibly as a way to de-emphasize Kang in the marketing).

Again I was literally only referring to his pre-Thing human form. Ruffalo as Bruce Banner makes sense, I'd expect human-form Ben Grimm to have a physical build closer to like, John Cena? That's just me though and we agree none of that matters and he's a great actor and sounds great and yadayada!

Damn, I love Raimi's directing style, but I kind of think Secret Wars as a concept needs to be stolen from the executive's hands if your giving it over to the guy. Otherwise, it's just going to be another Avengers film.

Though honestly if this rumour is not legit (and if its coming from Sneider himself, he gets stuff right but he also gets stuff wrong) I think the most likely picks are Benson and Moorehead. They get it, theyve proved themselves multiple times, and they have a unique style. I think they would do a fantastic job as much as I want to see them getting back to their weird small films (watch The Endless).

Of those three, if its Raimi itll have great style but better hope the script is good. Favreau is the safe pair of hands, he could deliver a good version of what you expect, which at this stage Im not sure is enough. Coogler hasnt missed yet and could bring something really interesting to an Avengers movie. However while I could see it back when it was just Secret Wars he seems like the least likely to say yes to two films. He probably wants to do something else at this point.

Not to relitigate Dr. StrangeMOM again but that movie was a huge mixed bag critically I thought. Raimi works best if you let him cook and I don't see them letting him cook on Avengers. I don't see Coogler being excited about this either. If they could get Favreau back that'd be huge.

Edit: I assume he's blacklisted to oblivion, but I bet Marvel would kill for a non-problematic Joss Whedon

Multiverse of Madnesss problems were script-level, but the writer was Michael Waldron who is writing Secret Wars and is rumoured to be taking over Kang Dynasty from Jeff Loveness. On the other hand he also wrote Loki season 1 so you win some you lose some I guess.

They've done a great job with the Avengers Compound. Fun for kids meeting superheroes constantly, the couple of shows I caught in passing were good, and the Guardians ride is tremendously fun.

I wish Avengers Compound was cooler than it is. Guardians is fantastic, but yeah, kinda doesn't count since it wasn't originally part of the land?

The number of shows are neat, and they all have cool little quirks to them. Although some of them are a bit lacking. I think the Doctor Strange one is the lamest though. He just does little birthday party tricks lol

I also really don't like the Spider-Man ride. It's just a loud obnoxious "movie screen" ride that tires out my arms really quickly. It's not even fun to try and get a high score since it's Pay-to-Win...
