That car had a production run of like 500. Honda sold 2900 2G NSXs - and I think I've only ever seen 2 or 3 of those in my life.

The LFA is the unicorn of unicorns.

Yeah the lfa doesn't have the name but don't most major reviewers think it's better than Ferrari?

Because it's a better car than most, if not all, Ferrari.

And like people have said, it's extremely rare. Some people want a different supercar. So you'll see them in a Pagani or a Koenigsegg, rather than a Ferrari or a Lambo.

The 2nd gen next was also well received by auto reviewers and sold badly. A better car than lfa? Lfa is like 15:yrs old right? Guys that can afford those usually do want the Ferrari name maybe

Depends who you are talking about and who they are trying to impress.

People who know cars might go for the LFA. People who move in circles where everyone has a Ferrari (they aren't that unusual) might want to stand out from the crowd. People who want outlandish design might go for something like a Pagani (since Lambo styling has got very tame since the days of the Countach and Diablo).

The rarest car I've ever seen on the road was a Jaguar XJ220. When I lived near London, there was a guy living near me who drove one around all the time. Beautiful car.

I'm kind of a car guy. I mostly drool over supercars and hypercars though. And living in SoCal, I get to live vicariously through the wealthy people here.

Like we took a day trip down to Laguna Beach this past weekend (1-2 hours from LA) and we saw 3 lambos and 1 McLaren. I was giddy for every single one lol.

The rarest car I think I've ever seen just in passing in traffic was the 2004ish Ford GT on a road that it almost certainly had trouble not fuckin dying on the pot holes lol.

I was completely baffled why it was being driven on a back road but I was glad to see it. Was white with blue stripes.

Sad isn't the right word. The concept initially had a fat V12 in it. They ended up with the TTV6 when it came to production, which actually made more power than the concept. IIRC it turned people off on the car tho. Especially since you see all that empty space in the engine bay. It's really cool though. The asymmetrical side mirrors are neat.

not in terms of around a road track , only top speed. Many newer corvettes are prob faster than that mclaren around a road track. Isn't the veyron kinda slow around a road track as well? you sacrifice that for top speed

Heh. I guess slow is relative.

There's always a trade off between cornering speed and straight line speed. In different eras they prioritized differently. At one point they were judging and marketing every even vaguely sporty car on how fast it would lap the Nurburgring.
