Do you 100% games, or do you just beat the main story?

I 100% them unless it's really annoying.

Like I just finished Ori and the Blind Forest and I was missing 1% of map completion in one section, but there was no way to tell where the hell it was, so I said fuck it.

I usually do stuff until I get bored then beat the main story. I'm not struggling through a game just to say I 100% beat it. These days it means a bunch of stupid achievements I don't care about.

Play until it's over, until it's no longer engaging or until I confirm I don't like it.

Most of the time I do all the side quests (or most of them), then finish the main story, and that's it. If the collector content is easy enough and has a compelling enough reward I'll do it.

So I played Ghosts of Tsushima and Tears of the Kingdom in much the same way - beat all the side quests, did the main quest. With GoT I did all the side content because it was easy and the outfits and swords were cool.

In Tears of the Kingdom I didn't bother getting ten thousand koroks because fuck that

Mostly just main story unless Im still really into it by the time the game ends. Even then, Im not likely to reach 100%

It depends. If I like the game then I will try to 100% it but if I don't like the game I will either just finish story mode or just quit.

When I was younger I was more into 100% completion. Now that's changed because I don't spend as much time gaming and there are a so many games to play. Now I engage with any side content if it seems interesting and otherwise I skip it.

Im an arcade player so to me beating a game is making it through to the credits/game over screen but a game I really like I will play through with different characters if they have them.

Then you have technically never ending games like Dig Dug, Space Invaders etc where you just play again and again and try to beat your score.

I 100% all the biomes, but some of the achievements are insane (beat the game without dying).

When I was a kid through my mid-twenties, I'd try to 100% the games that I liked, but past that, I just don't have the time, energy, or skills I used to have to do that and am kind of content with doing as much as I'm capable of doing.

Oh, yeah, I said fuck that too. Any kind of speed-running achievements I usually skip.

When I was a kid I would 100 absolutely everything.

Now I just try to do sidequests, but I am mostly aiming for the final boss
