My wife keeps trying to get me into D20 and I've been trying to, but it feels way more "for the camera" than any other actual play I've ever watched/listened to. It's extremely over-performative, and that makes it really hard for me to get into. I'm an avid D&D player, and no table I have ever been at acts like this. Is there a specific CR/D20 campaign you guys like? What's a good starting point? ... Copied to Clipboard!

I love D&D podcasts but I have a hard time with CR and D20 too... I don't really know why though... Just can't get into them like I did many others...

I haven't listened to CR yet but that's the vibe I get too. I absolutely love TAZ, even though each arch seems to get less interesting than the last. Them playing DnD being completely secondary to them just fucking around is the real draw.
