Why?

It's annoying, even more so when they actually watch me scan it and still ask. If you care that much, watch the security cameras.

Gotta make sure you scanned that $5 case of water in and not the...oh, I don't know, the new microwave/air fryer/something that costs far more.

There arent any in the country I live in.

Sometimes people seem to feel a sense of entitlement for cheaper items.

I just went to Walmart to get stuff for work. I did not enjoy it, very few people at 7am but it took me 15m to find ziplock bags.

I bought a pack of socks for myself, so hopefully I personally don't need to go back this year.

Obligatory reminder that not all Walmart stores are created equal. They can be as different as you and me.

Anyway, yeah I do. It's just the most convenient and cost-effective option, because it's like five minutes from my apartment on a heavy traffic day. Plus they deliver, and I get half off a Walmart+ subscription because I'm on government assistance and it has really come in handy after losing my car. There is literally no better option in any direction for at least fifty miles.
